Pop Warner finally returned to the Memorial Day Parade this past Saturday, after about 15 years of not being in it and what do our girls do they take second place of the 30 youth groups participating. Way to go girls oh yea the boys that particpated also wearing their championship jerseys.
I was taking pictures of the girls doing the routine that they learned in 15 mins for the judges of the parade and someone behind me said they never know when sign ups are they would love to get thier kids into Pop Warner. Really we only have month long sign ups every May, huge sign in front of the War Memorial with the dates and times. Full Front page of two newspapers at the end of every April announcing its that time for sign ups. I get at least 10 flyers from school announceing sign ups per kid. Of course the great Pop Warner mom I am whip out my phone and give them the number of the president if they cant make sign ups tonight, he'll take care of them.
Makayla is on injured list due to spraining her ankle in Lacrosse last week so they asked her to wear Pop Warner tee-shirt and help with banner since she might hurt herself being a base or backspot.

My baby girl in her brothers football tee-shirt hers are white and getting too small
Next year we will have State championship for both football and cheer its our year for both, as long as they schedule compitions, and state games right our boys can't do it without their cheerleaders ask any of the boys or girls and they will tell you. Everytime the team doesn't have thier cheerleaders they loose their game, even if the older girls are their, they don't have the same connection as when all 50 of them are on the same field.
