More pictures of the girls room and painting the closet. It is now done That door there I knew I hadn't started painting but when I went up to finish up the closet it was somehow half way painted the princess started painting it. I have decided that I am going to take everything out of the attic tomorrow and use the whole closet for the girls. Tomorrow once the rest of the paint is dry I will shampoo the carpet in the closet and get to work on filling it and organizing it I hate white, especially when textured ceiling paint is used which was in all the closets in this house

David's graduation and Kenny's yearbook dedication pages
Today was David's turn to say good bye to one school and hello to another. His last 4 years of school are coming up and man that high school better watch out for this kid. No not really he has became a fine young man after a rough couple of years I love you bub and am so proud of that english award that was a complete shock to both you and me.
Outside of Jr. High envolope holds his promotion certificate, English award and pins for different things
In the picture is his wife whom is the head of the lunch department at the kids school
Some how I missed one page. But you get what this wonderful man ment to these children. He is missed by all that he touched their hearts. Kenny came home today and said someone had said "who killed Kenny" in the exact voice he would say it to him and he turned around expecting to see him standing there with his great big smile on his face. My kids still have a hard time of not thinking hes there. It is strange as a parent as well as me knowing him most of my life walking in that school and not seeing him there.

Kenny's 6th grade graduation and Makayla's lip sync
Today was my boogie boys six grade graduation. Goodbye elementary hello big bad Jr. High. This was a very sad morning for me I hate to see these years go by since now it will fly. I am so proud of this kid. He received the presidential award which was no suprise because no matter what he says he is a very smart kid. He was also nominated with 9 other students to receive the George Davis award which is the highest award that the 6th graders can receive. One girl and one boy receive this award and it is a great honor to be nomintated for it. I am so proud of my baby boy.
Holding his presidential award his other awards are there too
Final 6th grade picture. His teacher is the same 6th grade teacher all 4 of my brothers had

Simple Sunday the computer games got in the way all day
First off I have to say "Happy Birthday Mike" I know that you read this at some point today. I love you, my dear brother.
I played a computer game too long on Sunday so nothing really got done, this is the tye dye skirt and shirt I made for Kayla to wear on Wens. for Kenny's graduation. The skirt came out really light due to the material it was made out of. That's ok she loves it. I love the shirt and think I did a great job on it
Candy jars ready to go. Although someone keeps sneaking skittles out of them so I have to get more before I can take them to school for the teachers which I will do on Wens.

Saturdays progress no good garage sales this weekend
My goofy baby boy came down stairs like this the other night and said mom I really need that haircut. God how I love this kid and hope he never changes. He is sporting his pimp hat his sister bought him in Myrtle Beach just for his 6th grade graduation.
My mom and I went to a couple of garage sales yesturday I got David a brand new pair of shorts with a $44.00 price tag on them for $4.00, Makayla a pair of brand new sneakers with a price tag of $40.00 for $2.00 but that was all I found. When I got home I found this next project sitting in my front yard for free. I have a pedistal table that the bottom is now held together with a piece of wood. A neighbor is moving and brought this over to me. So it will get sanded and refinished very soon to use for a new kitchen table.

Fumes Friday
Yes I am breathing paint fumes today. I need to finish up the candy jars for teachers. Once again I am doing them for my friend her other daughter in 6th grade needs them too. I have decided that I am doing them for my two kids teachers the school secretary and the second grade teacher that has been the heaven sent for Makayla and possibly one for my nefhews second grade teacher because his teacher would get a kick out of it. Tom is the head of our high school drama department, as well as being a second grade teacher is also someone that I was friends with in highschool whom I still talk to every so often. So I know he would love it
yea mom likes to have fun tye dyeing also was going to let Makayla do this but I might just do it myself
